<p>Baby Samuel Liam Hicks, born on December 19, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Children's Hospital</p><p>gained his angel wings on Friday, December 29, 2023 after a courageous battle. He was</p><p>welcomed to Heaven by his sibling, Sky Hicks, grandmother Donna Lynn Hicks, grandmother</p><p>Eleanora Holland and God Father Nathanial "Bo" Delauder.</p><p><br></p><p>Left to cherish Samuel's memory are his parents, Nathaniel L. and Michelle A. (Jones) Hicks; big</p><p>brothers: Nathaniel and Scott as well as big sister Sophia; Mia Patricia Jones of Baltimore, MD;</p><p>Pop-pop Perry Hicks of Perryville, MD and grandfather Stephen Jones (Teresa) of Boston, MA.</p><p>Samuel is also survived by his Aunt Kristi, Aunt Stephanie, Aunt Bobbie, Uncle Brian, Uncle</p><p>Dwayne and many cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>There will be a celebration of life hosted by family at a later date. The family wishes to thank all</p><p>of the nurses at WVU Labor and Delivery and the incredible team of Doctors and Nurses at WVU NICU that did all they could for Samuel.</p><p><br></p><p>How very quietly you tiptoed into our world, silently, only a moment you stayed.
