<p>Allister George Zinck</p><p><br></p><p>With sorrow, we announce the passing of Allister Zinck on December 23, 2023. He passed away peacefully at Rosedale Home for Special Care where he received love, compassion and excellent care. Allister was born May 3, 1932 to the late Marguerite and Samuel Zinck. He was predeceased by the love of his life Theresa (Snair) Zinck as well as his brother Stewart Zinck and Kathleen (Paul) Nauss, and nephew Troy Nauss. Allister is lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. He had a close and special bond with his great nephew Mark Wilson.</p><p><br></p><p>Allister will be remembered for his fishing, hunting and trapping skills, making axe handles and knives, his laugh and the numerous hours spend in his woodshop chatting with anyone that stopped by. He took pleasure in 4-wheeling and the special times spent with his wife at their camp. Allister was a member of the Walden Fire Department and was very active and helpful in his community. He will be sadly missed.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements have been entrusted to Ronald A Walker Funeral Home. As per Allister’s wishes, a family graveside service has been held at Black Point Cemetery on December 26, 2023, Pastor Sam Jess officiating. Donations in Allister’s memory may be made to Rosedale Home for Special Care, Walden Fire Department and/or any charity of choice.</p>

Allister George Zinck
