Frances Lorene Patrick Thaggard, 88, passed away in Coldwater, MS, on Sunday, December 24, 2023. Frances was born in Arkabutla, MS on November 26, 1935, to Floy Lorene Tate Patrick and Clarence Henry Patrick.

Frances was a member St. Gregory Catholic Church in Senatobia, MS for 58 years. She was a dedicated employee of Billingsley Livestock Sales for 44 years. Frances was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished spending time with her family. She loved gardening, both vegetable and flower gardening, and enjoyed watching the butterflies and hummingbirds that visited her gardens. She was a talented seamstress who blessed her family with her talents.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, which includes her beloved husband of 58 years, Jerry Thaggard; daughters, Cathy Moore (Randy), Marsha Thaggard, and Jeri Yow (Jeremy); four grandchildren, Seth Moore (Kaitlyn), Makenzie Hunter, Libby Moore, and Maggie Aultman (Brennen); sister, Martha Taylor; and brother, Clarence Patrick, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floy and Clarence Patrick, Sr.; sisters, Tula Carlisle and Wynette Yount; and brother, Tate Patrick.

A visitation will be held at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 705 Strayhorn St., Senatobia, MS on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 10-11 A.M. Funeral mass service will be held at St. Gregory Catholic Church, immediately following visitation at 11 A.M. Private family interment will follow in Senatobia Memorial Cemetery, Senatobia, MS. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity of the donor’s choice in Frances Thaggard’s memory.
