<p>Joan Marie Haas Crawford, age 82, passed away on December 24, 2023, at Hospice of Hope Center in Maysville, KY. She was born on March 23, 1941, in Robertson County, to the late William Thomas and Viola Dixon Haas. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Donald Lee Crawford; two brothers, Harold Thomas Haas, Larry Eugene Haas; and a sister, Betty Dice. </p><p> Joan was survived by her son, Stephen (Shelly) Crawford; three sisters, Mary Lee Welch, Delores Jean Linville, Martha Florence Wood; sister-in-law, Sereta Doyle; grandchildren, Jordan (Catrina) Cooley, Logan (Susie) Cooley; one great-grandchild, Henry Edward Cooley. Joan attended Chatham Christian Church, and she was remembered as loving to cook and bake. She was also known for writing her jokes down in a book. Her family says she loved to make others laugh.</p><p> A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 10:00 A.M., at Robertson County Funeral Home. Visitation will be the night prior, beginning at 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., also at Robertson County Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at Sharon Cemetery, and Bro. Jackie McElfresh will preside over services for the Crawford family.
