It is with loving hearts that Joan's family announces her passing on Friday December 22, 2023 from West Haldimand General Hospital, in her 72nd year. Beloved wife to Les James. Loving mother of Lori (Marlon Jackson) and Leslie (2012). She will be missed by her fur baby Ruby. Joan will be fondly remembered by her siblings John (Jean) Henderson of Mississauga, Lillian (Bob) Bluhm of Jarvis and many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents Clare and Dorothy Henderson (nee. Flynn), mother in-law Lillian James and sister in-law Marion Thank you to the staff at the West Haldimand General Hospital for the compassion mom received during her time in their care.

In keeping with Joan's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Cooper Funeral Home, 19 Talbot Street, Jarvis, On. In memory of Joan, donations to Canadian Diabetes Society and Heart & Stroke Canada would be greatly appreciated by her family.
