Carol Ann Westhaver

It is with great sadness that we had to announce the passing of Carol. A mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, friend and confidant. Carol lived a wonderful life filled with many highs, lows and challenges along the way. Carol was born in Northborough Massachusetts's on January 13, 1938 and moved to Canada with her first husband in 1958. They moved to Hubbards in the early 70,s where they ran a successful Esso oil business for 20 years. Carol ran the office and was extremally professional. Carol lost her first husband in 1981 and spent the next ten years on her own taking care of her kids while working local jobs including an extended period at Hubbards Home Hardware . In 1990 she was courted by Guy Westhaver Jr and they were married on June 23rd. She spent the next 35 years in Fox Point with the love of her life living her best years. She enjoyed fishing, knitting and gardening but most of all she enjoyed spending time on the porch with Jr while watching the kids at the sailing club and spending time with their many friends. She will be missed by many. The family would like to offer thanks to Dr Mehrpooya, the VON and The Palliative Care nurses. A celebration of life will be held at the family home at 210 Hwy 329, Fox Point on Saturday December 30th, 2023 from 1 until 4. In leu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hubbards Fire Department.
