Lisa Dee Harrison Lunceford, 64, of Sardis, MS, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 18, 2023, at her home in Sardis, MS.

Lisa was born on September 30, 1959, in Holly Springs, MS to Florence Evelyn Moore Harrison and Charles Fant Harrison. She loved the outdoors and spent many hours fishing, hunting, and observing nature and wildlife. She especially loved the hummingbirds who visited her numerous feeders in the summer. Lisa loved animals and spent many years doing wildlife rescue and rehab. She not only rescued animals but was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who was in need. Lisa was affectionately called “Maw” by everyone, friends as well as family, because of her nurturing personality.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving family which includes her husband, Millard Lunceford; mother, Florence Wells; daughter, Crystal Courtney Annestedt; two sons, Jimmy Clay Lunceford and Phillip Dewayne Lunceford; brother, Tony Harrison; twelve grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Charles Harrison; two brothers, Douglas Harrison and Jimmy Cash; and son, Roy Girner, III.
