<p>It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Marlene Carr (nee Woods), age 81, peacefully with family by her side at Brockville General Hospital on December 18th, 2023. Loving mother of Andrea Finn (Robert) and Curtis Carr (Patricia). Cherished Nana of Cassidy (Becky), Dominic (Rita), and Keegan. Predeceased by her late parents Charles Woods and Margaret Woods (Laidlaw) and late husband Donald Carr. </p><p>Sharon was a retired school teacher, an avid gardener, a past member of the horticultural society, passionate Toronto Blue Jays fan, and a lover of all animals. </p><p>A private service for friends and family will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rumpus Fund at Westport Veterinary Clinic, Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a Charity of choice would be greatly acknowledged by the family. The family would also like to show appreciation for the support given from all staff at the Brockville General Hospital Acute Stroke Unit and Palliative Care Unit. </p>
