<p>Carolyn Ann Slosiarek, 82, of Waukesha, Wis., passed away peacefully on Dec. 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Carolyn was born on Oct. 15, 1941, to Joseph and Eleanore Forster, and graduated from West Allis Central High School in 1959. She started her career as a receptionist at the TB Association of Wisconsin. When she became a mother, she chose to stay at home and raise her family.&nbsp;After her youngest was in middle school, she worked for the Association of Women’s Psychotherapists. She also served on the board of the Whitnall School District for many years.&nbsp;Family was the cornerstone of Carolyn’s life. She married Michael Slosiarek on Aug. 3, 1963, and together they shared 60 years of love, laughter and countless memories. Carolyn was known for her kindness and heartwarming smile. Everywhere she went, someone would start a conversation with her, and by the end, she knew their life story. Carolyn said her proudest moments as a wife were marrying the perfect man and as a mother having her four wonderful children.<br></p><p>Carolyn was famous for making pancakes, funnel cakes, and french toast for her children’s friends during sleepovers, and for the fancy cakes she made for birthdays, including violins, Cookie Monster and the Millennium Falcon.<br></p><p>&nbsp;<br></p><p>Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Eleanore Forster, and her siblings Donald, Norman and Kenneth Forster.<br></p><p>&nbsp;She is survived by her husband Michael Slosiarek, her sister Lynn Davis, her children Suzanne (Paul) Slosiarek-Bettendorf, Christine (Terry) Foss, James (Angie) Slosiarek, Andrew (Elizabeth) Slosiarek, her former son-in-law Dwayne Krause, her grandchildren Danielle (Matt) Breyfogle, Cody Krause, Conner Krause, Katie Slosiarek, Olivia Slosiarek, and Cooper Slosiarek, her great-grandchildren Amara, Keira and Gauge, her nieces and nephews, Fred Maypark, Dan, Duke and Mark Forster, Judy Owens, Tammy Perkins, Robin Hueckstaedt, Kevin and Bryan Kanieski, Patrick and Crisse Forster, Cynthia Grandstaff, Holly and Stephanie Filardo, and Becki Krupp, and her sisters-in-law Kathy Forster and Sue Forster.<br></p><p>Services for Carolyn will be held at a later date, as Michael and Carolyn made plans to hold funeral services together after the time of Michael’s passing.<br></p><p>Memorial donations can be made to:&nbsp;Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church&nbsp;(1026 N. 9th St.&nbsp;Milwaukee, WI 53233)&nbsp;Or&nbsp;The animal rescue of your choice.<br></p><p>&nbsp;<br></p><p>&nbsp;</p>

Carolyn Ann Slosiarek, 82, of Waukesha, Wis., passed away peacefully on Dec. 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Carolyn was born on Oct. 15, 1941, to Joseph and Eleanore Forster, and graduated from West Allis Central High School in 1959.
