<p>Betty Lou (Cunningham) Fanire, 84 of Wellsburg, WV, passed away at 7:45 PM on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Wheeling, WV.</p><p><br></p><p>Betty Lou was born on September 7, 1939 in Power, WV. She was the daughter of the late Gloe “Pete” Cunningham and Helen Elizabeth (Wiles) Cunningham. </p><p><br></p><p>Betty Lou was a member of the Wellsburg United Methodist Church, Wellsburg Moose and the Order of Eastern Star, Bethany Chapter. She worked in retail.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, Betty Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Fanire Sr., siblings, Charles R., Paul A. and Thomas R. Cunningham, Donna L. Stewart, Thelma L. DeWitt and Mary Jane Kemp.</p><p><br></p><p>Betty Lou is survived by her daughter, DeAnn Patra Janney, grandchildren, Ashley Nicole and William Robert Treadway, three siblings, William C. and John E. Cunningham and Peggy A.
