<p>Pembine – Darrell E. Smock, 84, of Pembine, Wisc., passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Optalis Health and Rehab, Kingsford, Mich.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born on August 10, 1939, in Klemme, Iowa, to the late Leslie and Ilo (Klotzbach) Smock.</p><p><br></p><p>Darrell proudly served in the United States Air Force from September 1956 until September 1960, and then re-enlisted from December 1960 until his honorable discharge in December 1964. He married the love of his life, Judith Jones, on May 21, 1961.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-two years, Judith Smock; two sons, Ryon Smock, and Karroll (Brenda) Smock; daughter, Sharlotte (Tom) Eichinger; brothers, Leslie Smock and George Anderson; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Willis Anderson; and sisters, Sheryl Dean, Doreen Winterhalter, and Noel Lee.</p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Darrell’s life will be announced in the spring.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends may leave condolences and tributes to Darrell’s family online at www.jacobsfuneralhomes.com</p><p><br></p><p>The family has chosen Jacobs Funeral Home-Niagara Chapel, Niagara, Wisc., to honor Darrell’s legacy of life.</p><p><br></p>

He was born on August 10, 1939, in Klemme, Iowa, to the late Leslie and Ilo (Klotzbach) Smock.
