Wilda Elouise (Carroll) Goff Staats, 93 of Colliers, WV, passed away at 11:40 AM on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Golden Oaks, Follansbee, WV.

Elouise was born on April 20, 1930 in Beech Bottom, WV. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ida (Smith) Carroll.

Elouise worked at JCPenny, Steubenville, OH as a sales clerk. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Wellsburg, WV and the C.E.O. – Homemakers Clubs. Many will remember Elouise for her love of quilting and cooking especially her apple dumplings and noodles; but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Elouise was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Lee Goff, second husband, Delmer Staats, a son, James Lee Goff and three siblings, Eugene and Lawrence Carroll and Merle Frey.

Elouise is survived by her four children, Betty Straka and her husband, Gary of Colliers, WV, Bonnie Eltringham and her husband, William, all of Colliers, WV, Ronald Goff and Thomas Goff and his wife, Terri of Wellsburg, WV, 10 grandchildren, Heather Collins and husband, Jeff, Kerry Jo Baker and husband, Heath, Keith Straka and wife, Miriam, Lee Eltringham and wife, Grace, Beau Eltringham, Brooks Goff, Ronald Goff, Thomas Goff, Amiee Pendleton and husband, Brandon and Jamie Goff, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with David Dulaney Jr., officiating.

Interment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association, C/o Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main Street, Wellsburg, WV 26070.
