Jeanette Marie Dezess, 89, of Battle Creek, MI, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023. She was born May 29, 1934 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Gaylord and Velma Horton. Jeanette married Vern Dezess on July 26, 1980. Vern preceded her in death in 2010.

Jeanette worked hard and was always on the go. She loved to find deals at garage sales and even hosted her own. She enjoyed doing word searches, camping, and spending time with her family. Jeanette will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children: Virginia Harper (Myron Dunham), Velma (Michael) McLeod) and Vern Dezess; 24 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughters: Luella Boze and Marlene Newton; and sisters: Mary Lou and Diane.
