<p>Frederick Allan Dorey </p><p><br></p><p>79, of Hubbards passed away peacefully on December 5th, 2023 surrounded by his family at Hillside Pines in Bridgewater. He was the youngest son of the late Andy and Elsie (MacLean) Dorey. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane Dorey of over 40 years; sisters, Marjorie, Dorothy; brothers, Gerald, Andy and Herbie.</p><p><br></p><p>Survived by daughters, Angela (Brian), Sandy Cove; Amy (Edward), Hubbards; sons, Allan (Juile), Lower Bedford; Daniel (Thomas), Chester; grandchildren, Troy, Sheena, Rachael and Audrina; great grandchild, Weston; sisters, Jenny and Joan; brother, Frankie. </p><p><br></p><p>Fred worked at Interhabs as a tradesman in Hubbards. He enjoyed being in his workshop doing little jobs or just to relax. He loved the outdoors. His favorite place was the Mersey where he could enjoy fishing, camping, skidooing and going for drives with his wife. Loved working around the house and keeping his grass nicely done. I would like to thank Hillside Pines–Forestview Wing for their care for my Dad. Donations can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Service will be held at a later date.</p>
