<p>Marie Barnett Fugate, age 90 of Fisty, Kentucky. Went to be with our Lord on Monday December 4, 2023, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center in Hazard, Kentucky. She was born on December 16, 1932, in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Willie and Loretta Ritchie Barnett. She was the Wife of the late Magellan “Tub” Fugate.</p><p></p><p>Marie is survived by her loving Son: Gareth (Judy) Fugate; Daughter: Marie (Paul) Johnson; Daughter-In-Law: Cindy Fugate; 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Marie is preceded in passing by her Husband: Magellan “Tub” Fugate; Parents: Willie and Loretta Ritchie Barnett; Son: Darren “Big Wrench” Fugate; Granddaughter: Natasha Fugate Jones.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends from 6PM-8PM Wednesday December 6, 2023 at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, Kentucky.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be 12 Noon Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral in Hindman, Kentucky with Larry Griffith Officiating. Burial to follow at Mountain Memory Gardens in Hindman, Kentucky.
