<p> Phillip Cody Davis, 81, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born June 26, 1942 in Wichita, Kansas. He is the son of Joseph R. and Thelma Mae (Kendrick) Davis. He went to walk the golden streets of heaven on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at his residence in Elk City, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family.</p><p> Phillip married his best friend, Tori LeAnn Matthews on June 29, 1999 at Sayre, Oklahoma.</p><p>He enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and baking cookies and cheesecake. In his spare time he could be found driving the tractor, whittling and tinkering with things. Phillip lived in California until 2021, then they moved to Elk City, Oklahoma to be near family and friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.</p><p> Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.</p><p> Cherishing his memory is his loving wife, Tori Matthews-Davis of Elk City, Oklahoma; one son, Cody Ryan Davis and his wife, Juanita Avila of Elk City, Oklahoma; two daughters, Irene Marie Hilliard and her husband, Ron of Mesa, Arizona, and Cindi Davis of Auburn, Washington; one brother, Michael Kendrick of Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Joshua Phillip Cody Davis and his wife, Jennifer Emerson of Auburn, Washington, Timothy Young of Mesa, Arizona, Jennifer Wilhelm of Peoria, Illinois; six great grandchildren, Joyce Davis of Auburn, Washington, Jericho Davis of Auburn, Washington, Kali Young of Searcy, Arkansas, Logan Johnston of Peoria, Illinois, Brandon Taylor, of Peoria, Illinois, and JaeLee Taylor of Peoria, Illinois.</p><p> Phillip is preceded in death by his parents.</p><p> Memorials can be made to the charity of choice in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home, P.O.
