Nancy P. Scovill

<p>Nancy Scovill was born in 1926 in Corry, PA and was adopted by Karl and Edith Plankenhorn of Williamsport, PA. She grew up there and graduated from Williamsport High School in 1944. She graduated from Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA in 1948 and took a job with a Presbyterian Church Youth Group in Bozeman, MT. While there, she met Victor Scovill and they were married in 1950. Together they had 3 wonderful children.</p><p><br></p><p>Nancy was very active at First Congregational Church from 1970 to 1991 when she and Vic moved to New Mexico. They lived in a golfing community just south of Albuquerque. They enjoyed their time there playing a lot of golf and visiting many areas of the state. They returned to Billings in 2006.</p><p><br></p><p>Over the years, her outdoor activities included swimming, horseback riding and golf. She was an avid reader, but her cherished time was spent with her husband and children.</p><p><br></p><p>Nancy and Vic moved to Mission Ridge on the St John’s Campus in 2017. Nancy died peacefully at Fischer Cottage on the St John’s Campus on November 30, 2023.</p><p>She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, her brother and a very sweet granddaughter. She is survived by her son David (Hana) of Espanola, NM, Her son Bruce (Nina) of Aurora, CO, her daughter Carol of Billings, MT, her grandson Camden of Stamford CT, her great granddaughter, Isabelle, and 2 nieces.</p><p><br></p><p>At her request, no services will be held.</p><p><br></p>
