<p>Lydge Jennings Brewer was born on June 26, 1958 in Mountain View, Arkansas to Ulis Eugene Brewer and Mary Lowrene Martin Brewer. Lydge passed away on December 2, 2023 in Heber Springs, Arkansas.</p><p><br></p><p>Lydge was a beloved member of the Pentecostal Faith Churches of Prim, Arkansas. He spent a lot of time in the last few years spreading the gospel locally and in Little Rock with the homeless population.</p><p><br></p><p>Lydge was quite the character. You could always count on him for a colorful story (everyone has to remember him stopping an ATV thief with his bare hands, earning him an honorary police decal for his four wheeler) and he gave the best hugs. Lydge loved his four wheeler and hunting, especially with his brother David., and visiting all his friends around town.</p><p><br></p><p>Lydge worked on Hank Verser’s farm for the last fifteen years, and he became a beloved part of the Verser family, spending holidays with us and laughing with the grandkids and teaching Hank’s soon-in-law Arand how to farm properly and how to hunt.</p><p>Lydge is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Juanita )Brewer) Smith of California, Shirley (Brewer) Bernhardt of Arkansas, Mary Glis (Brewer) Barns of Arkansas, and brother Paul Brewer of Arkansas.</p><p><br></p><p>Lydge is survived by sisters Linda (Brewer) Shaddick of California, Karolyn (Brewer) Leary of Rhode Island, August (Brewer) Bryan of Ohio, and brothers Howard and David Brewer of Arkansas and Henry Criswell of Arkansas. Lydge will be missed by his many friends, many of whom became family.</p><p><br></p><p>Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 in the Knapp Cemetery in Prim, Arkansas with Colton Lockard and Jack Robinson officiating. Pallbearers will be Hank Verser, B.J. Knapp, Dan Knapp, Rex Cottrell, Colton Lockard and Jack Robinson.</p><p><br></p>
