Sandra Jean Lutz Stroud, 74, of Pottsville, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and soon to be great-great-grandmother, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, at her home. She was born October 22, 1949, in Tacoma, Washington, daughter of the late Herman and Jean Bowers Lutz.

She is survived by her husband, David Lee Stroud, Sr.; son, David Stroud, Jr.; daughter, Beth Alexander; grandsons, Bobby Burkett and Dustin Burkett; granddaughter, Jamie Parker and husband Wes; great-grandchildren, Judith, Caleb, and Kayleigh of Oklahoma; honorary grandchildren, Raina, Colton, and Dakoda; one great-great-grandchild to be; and brother-in-law, John Stroud.

A family conducted graveside memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 9, at Atkins City Cemetery with Rev. Mike Blanchard officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins.
