<p><br></p><p>Thelma Price, age 69, of Scottsburg IN, passed away at her residence in Scottsburg IN on December 4, 2023. She was born August 3, 1954 in Gays Creek KY to the late Luther Johnson, Sr., and the late Alta West Johnson. Thelma was married on June 3, 1972 to Charlie Price and they celebrated 51 years of marriage. Thelma had been employed at the Brownstown Middle School, for 9 years, as a custodian. She was a Christian by faith and was outgoing, fun, energetic, feisty. She enjoyed camping, fishing, the outdoors, and cooking—especially making peanut butter fudge. Most important she loved her grandkids. She is survived her son Donnie Price of Franklin IN and Tim Price &amp; wife Stacy of Scottsburg; her sisters Nella Coe of Scottsburg, Margaret Snowden of Lexington KY, Anna Hughes-Walters of Gays Creek KY, and Brenda Derringer &amp; husband Earl of Seymour; grandchildren Megan (Keith) Rutherford, Samantha (Josh) Vessel, Lauren Price, Jennifer (Tyler) Curran, Oliver Price, Christian (Heather) Price, Stephen (Lacie) Price, Haley (Michael) O’Connor, Emmaleah Price, and Nate Price. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Dusty Price; her sisters Ola Roberson, Bitha Riley, and Helen Pitoch; her brothers Floyd Johnson, Luther Johnson, Jr., and Bobby Johnson.</p><p>In keeping with her wishes and the family’s wishes, cremation has been chosen.</p><p>Friends and family are invited to leave condolence messages for the family at www.christensenfamilyfuneral.com.</p><p>Daniel and Betsy Christensen have been entrusted with the arrangements.</p><p><br></p>
