<p>Mary Sue Caudle Norman, 81, of Vale passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at her residence.</p><p><br></p><p>She was born June 22, 1942 in Johnson City, TN to the late Howard and Evelyn Brumitt Caudle. Sue retired from the furniture industry. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Norman; son, Jimmy Ledford; brothers, Dickie Caudle, Mike Caudle, Bud Caudle, CW Caudle; and sister, Wanda Cline.</p><p><br></p><p>Those left to cherish her memory are;</p><p><br></p><p>Sons: Tim Ledford and Nena Sanderson of Lincolnton</p><p>Tony Ledford and Lisa Sutton of Vale</p><p><br></p><p>Daughter-In-Law: Angie Ledford of Vale</p><p><br></p><p>Brother: John Caudle and wife Connie of Elizabethton, TN</p><p><br></p><p>Sister: Ilene Combs and husband Jim of Hickory</p><p><br></p><p>Grandchildren: Brandon Ledford, Brittany Hull (Henry); Matthew Ledford, Allison Ledford, M’Caylynn Norman</p><p><br></p><p>Great-Grandchildren: Gunnar Hull, Beau Hull, Alex Ledford, Eden Hull, Blakeleigh Cade, Rowan Ledford</p><p><br></p><p>A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Sue’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Service, 7878 NC Hwy 16, Newton.</p><p><br></p><p>Condolences may be sent to the Ledford family at www.bennettfuneralservice.com</p><p><br></p><p>The Ledford family is in the care of Bennett Funeral Service of Newton, 828-465-2111.</p><p><br></p>Obituary
