A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Miller Cemetery. Mr. Anthony Loyd Jones passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at his residence in Hartselle surrounded by his family. Pator John Plunkett will be officiating. Peck Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

He was born to Fred and Iva Rush Jones on May 23, 1949 in Marshall County, Tennessee. He worked for Crysler Corporation as a supervisor in quality control before retiring. He served proudly in the US Navy and attended Pine View Baptist Church. He loved to play guitar, cook and go fishing. Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Robert Lee Carroll.

Survivors include his wife of 37 1/2 years, Paulette Norman Jones of Hartselle, AL

Sons, Gregory Phillip Jones of Gurley, AL and Anthony Joseph Jones of Hazel Green, AL

Daughters, Leslee Jones Campbell (Shawn) of Cleveland, TN, Kelly Lynn Copeland (Judson) of Hartselle, AL, and Mikayla Rayann Jones of Madison, AL

Two brothers, Phillip Jones of Madison, AL and Ric Jones of Maynardville, TN

One sister, Freda Duggan of Hazel Green, AL

Seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
