Obituary Notice

Golden “Boo” Sandlin, age 76 of Mallie, Kentucky. Went to be with our Lord on Saturday December 2, 2023, at his residence in Mallie. He was born on August 22, 1947, in Letcher County, Kentucky to the late Charley and Lucy Helton Sandlin. He was the husband of Nancy Payne Sandlin.

Golden is survived by his Wife- Nancy Payne Sandlin; Children- Tammy Jo (Roger) Dawson, Kurt Randall (Angie) Sandlin,

Clint Bailey (Jessica) Sandlin; Brother- Sherrell Sandlin; Sisters- Katherine Hall, Ida Watson, and Betty Parsons; Grandchildren- Kurt T. Sandlin, Kodee Sandlin, Jacob R. Sandlin, Chase Golden Sandlin, Clint Logan Sandlin, Owen Randall Sandlin, River Bailey Odom, David Ritchie, Kaitlyn Thacker, Dylan Waugh, Kristen Waugh, Dawson Waugh

Great-Grandchildren- Wyatt Sandlin, Tyson Blaze Sandlin, Justin Dean Odom, Eva, Lane, Ellie, Zander, Cason, Christian, Bryson, Linston, Haddix and Hadisyn. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.

Golden is preceded in passing by his Parents- Charlie and Lucy Helton Sandlin; Siblings- Lewis Sandlin, Roger Sandlin, Rocky Sandlin and Leda Meade.

The family will receive friends from 6PM-10PM Monday December 4, 2023, and continue all day Tuesday December 5, 2023, at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, KY with service each evening starting at 7pm.

Funeral services will be 1PM, Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral in Hindman, KY with Conrad Profit and Jeffrey Jaybo Miles Officiating. Burial to follow at the Sandlin Family Cemetery in Mallie, KY. Golden will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
