Skip Wallace, 66, of Star City passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Skip was born July 19, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to Hilton and Dolly Weeks Wallace. He worked as a carpenter but was a true tradesman being able to fix or build anything with his hands. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening with his wife, raising cattle with his son, and going to Bauxite to spend time with his daughter, son in law, and grandkids. Skip attended Crigler Missionary Baptist Church.

Skip is preceded in death by his father, Hilton Wallace.

Survivors include his loving wife, Amy Wallace, whom he married on March 23, 1979. They enjoyed 44 wonderful years together. Also surviving, one son, Chip Wallace of Star City, two daughters, Camille Harrison and husband Jay, Natalie Bradford and husband Alex all of Bauxite; his mother, Dolly Wallace, three brothers, Vic Wallace (Kay) of Grapevine, Pete Wallace (Theresa) of Sulphur Springs, Bill Wallace (Lynette) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and a sister, Margaret Magness (Gary) of Sulphur Springs. Other survivors include five grandkids, Leah Harrison, Anna Harrison, Daniel Harrison, Emma Bradford, Abby Bradford, and many extended family and friends.

Visitation is 6:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Graveside services are 10:00am Monday, December 4, 2023 at Lee Cemetery in Sulphur Springs. Bro. Chip Wallace, Bro. Jay Harrison and Bro. Chris Sexton Officiating. Pallbearers are Jay Harrison, Daniel Harrison, Vic Wallace, Joe Mosely, Drew Barbre, and Jeremy Barbre. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Crigler Missionary Baptist Church, 21627 AR -11 Star City, AR 71667, or your local Animal Shelter.
