<p>Maria Cristofaro, 94, of Cranston passed away peacefully on Wednesday November 29, 2023, with her family by her side. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Marietta (Sinapi) Palumbo. She was the devoted wife of the late Pasco “Pat” Cristofaro. </p><p>Mary was a woman who took great pride in her appearance and always dressed to impress.&nbsp; Her love of fashion brought her to work in the jewelry and retail industry.&nbsp;&nbsp;She took pride in keeping her home spotless, and one of her favorite pastimes was sewing and creating clothes for herself, her children, and their dolls.&nbsp;There was always music in the air at home.&nbsp; She enjoyed nights out swing dancing with her beloved husband Pat.&nbsp;Wherever there was a marching band, you would see her toes a tapping and a big smile on her face. She also occasionally enjoyed the music that rang from the machines at a casino. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Mary's church in Cranston. </p><p>She is survived by her loving daughter Patricia Watson, and the late Kathy Cristofaro. Her beloved grandchildren Courtney DiResto and her fiancé Dave D’Ercole, and Alicia Johnson. She leaves six great grandchildren. She was the beloved sister of Vincent Palumbo and his wife Gladys, Victor Palumbo and his companion Sharon Greggory, Sylvia Galasso, Jeanette D’Amico and her husband John, and Linda Tundis, as well as many nieces and nephews. </p><p>Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday December 6, 2023, at 11:00 am at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME &amp; Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston. Burial will be held immediately following at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be from 9:00- 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society of RI, P.O. Box 7312, Warwick, RI 02887 or to the Alzheimer’s Association Rhode Island Chapter, 245 Waterman St., #306, Providence, RI 02906. </p>
