<p>Mary Lou Bourgeois Cross passed from this life on December 1, 2023, in Marksville, LA. Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Vidalia, LA with Father Paul Kinnumpuram, Father Anthony Dharmaraj and Father Joseph Xavier Vethamanickam officiating. Interment will follow at Natchez City Cemetery, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. </p><p><br></p><p>She attended St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ferriday and also Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Vidalia. Mary Lou was born May 21, 1934, in Grant Parish, Rochelle, Louisiana to Guy A. and Esther (Dantin) Bourgeois.</p><p><br></p><p>Preceded in death by her husband of 48 years and the love of her life, Herman Oscar Cross; her parents; Sisters, Louise Scholz and Esther Wood; and Brother, Guy Bourgeois, Jr.</p><p><br></p><p>Mary Lou is survived by her two sons, Guy A. Cross of Baton Rouge, LA, and Steven L. Cross and wife Evette of Monterey, LA; She was so incredibly loved and adored by two grandchildren, Anna Cross Wiggins and husband Chris of Pineville, LA and Paul Mathis and wife Kristen of Monterey, LA; and five great-grandchildren, Roman Oscar Wiggins; Talon, Kelbyn, Payton and Emmy Mathis; She was also loved and treasured by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Those honoring Mary Lou as pallbearers will be Paul Mathis, Chris Wiggins, Daniel Cross, and Gregg Reynolds.</p><p><br></p><p>The family greatly appreciates all of the love and care received from Sitters, Cabrini nurses, Rivière de Soleil Community Care and All Saints Hospice. </p><p><br></p><p>To leave an online condolence visit Young's Funeral Homes website.</p><p><br></p>
