<p>Frances Marie (Rahilly) Malenchini, a longtime resident of Melrose, MA, passed away on November 30th, 2023, at the age of 75.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p>Beloved wife and best friend to Paul Malenchini for 57 years. Loving mother to Paul Jr. and his wife, Maureen, Scott and his wife, Jocelyn and Robert and his partner, Nicholas Maviano. Fran was a loving grandmother to Joseph, Haley, Julia, Lauren, Joshua and Matthew.</p><p><br></p><p></p><p>Fran was born on January 21st, 1948, to the late James Rahilly and the late Frances (Collins) Rahilly in New York, NY. Fran was the oldest of 5 siblings, James, Jack, Richard and Judy. Fran attended St. Mary’s of the Annunciation School and was a graduate of Melrose High School in Melrose, class of 1965.</p><p><br></p><p>Fran enjoyed annual trips to Aruba and loved spending time at the family’s Florida home in Siesta Key Beach where she could always be found collecting sea shells and sand dollars, while enjoying beautiful sunsets.</p><p><br></p><p>Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 5th, 2023, at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 West Foster Street, Melrose, MA, from 8:30-10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mary's of Annunciation, 4 Herbert Street, Melrose at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery, 205 Sylvan Street, Melrose. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.</p><p></p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 262 South Danny Thomas Blvd., Memphis, TN 38105.</p>Obituary
