<p>Lana Diane Youngblood Hansen, 78, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at her home in Crestview, Florida. She is loved and will be missed by many. </p><p>She was born to Herman and Nancy Kennedy Youngblood on December 22, 1944 in Crestview, Florida. She grew up living in Escambia Farms and attended Escambia Farms school. In the third grade the family moved to Crestview. She attended Northwood Elementary and graduated from Crestview High School in 1962. She attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah graduating with a degree in Elementary Education. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served as a missionary in the Florida Tallahassee Mission. She then became a teacher at Northwood Elementary in Crestview. </p><p>She met Robert Allen Hansen while he was serving in the United States Air Force and was assigned to Eglin Air Force Base, not far from Crestview. They married in the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS Temple in 1970. Her husband received an honorable discharge from the Air Force in 1972. They moved to Utah, where he found work in the civil service at Hill Air Force Base, where they raised their four children in Layton, Utah. In 2002, Lana and her husband moved to Atlanta, Georgia where they enjoyed serving in the Atlanta temple. When Robert retired, they returned to Lana’s hometown of Crestview. </p><p>Lana was a devoted homemaker, wife, and mother of four children. She is survived by Robert, her husband of fifty-three years; her children, Rebecca Hatch (Jason), Allen (Heather Marie), Layne (Heather Lynn) and Cindy Huffman (Larry);&nbsp; her uncles, Jimmy Whitaker and Delwin Fountain; and nineteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Loretta Bangerter; and grandson, Porter Hatch. </p><p>Lana loved her family and enjoyed working on her family history, sending cards to family and friends, sewing and quilting. She was fond of dancing at a young age. She enjoyed attending family reunions and gatherings. </p><p>The family would like to send a heartfelt "Thank you" to Dr. Christopher and staff. </p><p>Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3 Del Cerro Camino, Crestview, Florida, 32539. Visitation will take place an hour prior. </p><p>Arrangements are under the care of Davis-Watkins Crestview Memorial. </p><p>&nbsp; </p>
