April Renee Brooks Obituary

April Renee Brooks, a beacon of love and passion, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2023, after a brief illness. Born in Warren, Ohio, on December 27, 1963, she returned to her roots and departed from the same loving community that she had always called home. April's life was a testament to the bonds of family and the simple joys that create a life well-lived.

April's journey began as the beloved daughter of her Warren-based family, and it was in this nurturing environment that she grew into the remarkable woman that many came to know and love. Her life was a tapestry woven with the threads of love, care, and dedication, especially to her cherished family. April's marriage to her devoted husband, Morris Brooks, was a partnership that stood as a pillar of strength and mutual respect. Together, they raised a family that was her pride and joy.

She was a loving mother to her children, David Fry, Morris Brooks II, Jamie Brooks, Angelica Purdy and her husband, Gregory, Kassandra Brooks and her husband, Tom, and Jessica Schoonover and her husband, Gregory. Each of her children carried a spark of her spirit, and they will continue to honor her legacy through their own lives.

April's role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply. She leaves behind eleven grandchildren, each of whom brought immense happiness and laughter to her life. Her presence in their lives was a gift of immeasurable value, one that will continue to resonate through their memories and stories. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Brenton Hemberger, who remained forever 13 in her heart and now welcomes her with open arms.

Beyond her family, April found joy in the companionship of her beloved fur child, Chanel. The bond they shared was one of mutual affection and comfort, and Chanel's presence brought an additional sparkle to April's everyday life.

Those who knew April will remember her as a woman of great love and passion. She approached every aspect of her life with a warm heart and an open mind. Her ability to make others feel loved and valued was a rare gift that she gave freely and often. April was the kind of person who not only lit up a room but also warmed the hearts of those within it.

In her leisure time, April's greatest pleasure was being surrounded by her grandchildren and family. The laughter and joy of these gatherings were the highlights of her days. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, and it is this love that will be her lasting legacy.

April's departure from this world leaves a void that cannot be filled. Yet, her spirit, her kindness, and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. She was a woman who lived her life with grace and who left the world a better place simply by being in it.

As we say goodbye to April Renee Brooks, we celebrate the life of a woman who was truly the heart of her family. Her story is one of unwavering love and the enduring power of family. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will be cherished forever. April's life was a beautiful journey that reached its peaceful conclusion in the same place it began, surrounded by the love of her family, in the town of Warren, Ohio.
