Susan Pamela (Fone) Davis, 73, of Latrobe, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at her home.

Born May 7, 1950 in Leeds, England, she was a daughter of the late Bernard P. Fone and Edith (Hernandez) Fone.

Susan grew up in England and moved to Spain where she met her husband, Louis, who was serving with the U.S. Navy at the time. It was love at first sight as she walked past his home and they were married six months later. Later, they moved home to Latrobe where they raised their family. For many years, Susan was a familiar face working at the former Droske’s Market in Lloydsville. Susan enjoyed traveling, especially trips to the beach and to casinos, although she wouldn’t admit that. Her greatest love was time spent with her family and making great memories playing Wii sports with her grandchildren.

Susan is survived by her husband of 51 years, Louis J. Davis of Latrobe; two daughters, Suzanne M. Smith, and her husband Glenn, of New Stanton, and Lindsay A. Renouf, and her husband James, of Fuquay Varina, NC; one sister, Irene Martinez, and her husband Agustin, of Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain; two grandchildren, Carter and Landon Renouf; two fur grandbabies, Mazzy and Minka; and she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

At Susan’s request, there will be no public visitations or services. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that, in honor of her love for animals, memorial contributions be made to Action for Animals, P.O. Box 814, Latrobe, PA 15650.
