Passed suddenly away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, November 27, 2023, Shawn Broaders of Lower Island Cove, age 81 years.

Predeceased by wife: Louise; son: Darryl; parents: James and Nellie Broaders; brothers: Patrick and Edmund; and infant sister.

Leaving to mourn, daughter: Valerie (Wallace) Maidment; son: Shawn Jr.; two grandchildren: Kelsey and Alyssa; brother: Lee; three sisters: Nita Squires, Mary McNeil, and Nora Doyle; also a large number of other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Thursday, November 30 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Funeral service to take place on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay.

Interment in Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bay de Verde.
