<p>Darlene Bryner Hunter, 88, of Meridian, Idaho passed away November 26, 2023 peacefully with her family by her side. Darlene was born July 16th, 1935 to Henry and Thelma Bryner in Duchesne, Utah. </p><p>She was raised in Price, Utah moved to American Fork, Utah where she graduated from American Fork High school. &nbsp;After high school, she attended Brigham Young University for one year.&nbsp; </p><p>She worked as a medical receptionist for four different doctors in Salt Lake City, Utah, before returning to school at Utah State University where she met her husband Oran. They finished one year of college then were married and sealed for Time and all Eternity on September 3, 1957 at the Salt Lake City Temple. They resided in Emmett, Idaho for 25 years. Oran worked at Boise Cascade as an electrician and later was released from the mill due to layoffs. Darlene and Oran moved to various states where Oran worked at various construction sites as an electrician. While in Emmett, Darlene worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Barrie Smith for close to 10 years.&nbsp; </p><p>Darlene was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints all of her 88 years. She served in various callings as a Primary Secretary, Young Womens Counselor and Relief Society President on two different occasions. She served a full-time mission at the Washington D.C. Temple. After returning home, Darlene served one day a week at the Boise, Idaho Temple and served a service mission till her passing.&nbsp; </p><p>She is survived by her children - daughter Lorna Turner, daughter Linda Menge (Robert), son Lonnie Hunter (Camille), daughter Lisa Burkhardt (Robert). &nbsp;Darlene has twelve grandchildren, five bonus grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.&nbsp; </p><p>Darlene is preceded in death by her husband Oran, her parents Henry and Thelma Bryner, two brothers Curtis and Harold Bryner, one great grandchild Adam Casey Menge, Jr. and son-in-law Steve Turner. </p><p>A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Potter Funeral Chapel with a funeral service on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM and a viewing at 10:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 1001 E. 2nd Street in Emmett. &nbsp;Burial will follow at the Bramwell Cemetery. &nbsp; </p>
