Anthony G. Hogan Obituary

Anthony G. Hogan, 61, of Roscoe passed away November 27, 2023. He was born July 10, 1962 in St. Louis, MO, son of Anthony "Tony" and Eileen (Ellen Mary) Hogan. Anthony graduated from Guilford High School in 1980 and joined the Illinois Air National Guard, the 126th Air Refueling Wing. He went to a training program in Texas where he learned electronics and worked for Hughes Business Telephones for 20 years. In the mid-eighties he started an LLC for his own real estate business where he would be a landlord for several homes, never retiring. Anthony loved bowling at Don Carter Lanes and was in multiple bowling leagues over the years and never lost his passion. He loved cars and notably fixed up and had a CJ-5 Jeep. He had a stereo speaker and music collection with over 200 CDs. Anthony always had music going in the background and would frequently play music trivia with his friends. 

Survivors include his daughter, Tara Hogan; brothers, John and Tom Hogan; nephews, Brendan (Taylor) Hogan and Sean Hogan. Predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Eileen Hogan.

Service will be at 12:00 PM Friday, December 1, 2023 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory-Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Rd., Loves Park, IL with a visitation from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
