Stacey Lee Demmings Obituary

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Stacey Demmings, on November 28, 2023. Stacey passed away peacefully, after a very courageous battle with cancer, with her husband, the love of her life, Craig, and their two children, Ara, and Trae, who she loved beyond words, by her side.

Stacey was born on September 30, 1971. In addition to her husband, Craig Demmings, and children Ara (Joel), and Trae, Stacey will be forever loved and missed by her mother, Susan Livingston, her father Jimmy MacLellan, brother Jimmy VanHorne, and many family and friends.

Stacey will be remembered for the love she had for her family. They were her most important treasures. Stacey and Craig were best friends. They loved the outdoors. Together, they enjoyed biking, boating, and offroad jeeping. They made many happy memories and enjoyed lots of laughs. Stacey’s happy place was the camp in Dufferin, and she enjoyed all seasons at the camp with Craig, family and friends. The little things made Stacey happy, like enjoying a coffee or a glass of wine on the front deck, with Craig, and their cat Leo. Along with Leo, Stacey loved her fur baby Brooke, and Brooke could always be found right at Stacey’s side. Brooke passed away unexpectedly on November 17, leaving a heaviness in everyone’s heart. Stacey was a wonderful mom, and was so proud of her children, and all their accomplishments. She valued and appreciated the time they spent together. She always looked forward to watching their favorite tv shows and enjoying a meal of Chinese food. Stacey loved her children beyond measure, and they were her world.

Stacey was well known in the community, as a very talented hairdresser. She was the owner of Salon Aspire. She will be missed by her many clients, and all those she touched through her work.

Stacey will be forever loved and remembered by Craig, Ara, Trae, and her family and friends. We will love and miss you always!
