James "Greg" McDuffie

<p style="text-align: center;"><b>Graveside services for Mr. Greg McDuffie, 61, of Gulf Shores, formerly of Alexandria, will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Middleton Presbyterian Cemetery in Ohatchee. Per the family’s wishes there will be no public visitation prior to the service.</b></p><p><br></p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Greg passed away peacefully, while surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, November 26, 2023.</b></p><p><br></p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Those left to cherish the memory of Greg are his wife, Vickee Holliday McDuffie; his daughter, Haley McDuffie; two stepsons, Dylan Holliday and Dalton Holliday (Melinda); his mother, Jane Gowens; four grandchildren, Kiley McDuffie, Briley McDuffie, Buck Greenwood, and Wesley Holliday; one sister, Allison Baird (Scott); two nieces, Lindy Mange (Allen) and Casey Baird; and his close friends and work family from Andritz, Inc.</b></p><p><br></p><p style="text-align: center;"><b>Greg was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Foley. He worked for Andritz, Inc. in Pell City as a machinist, where he retired after 35+ years. Greg and his wife, Vickee, moved to Gulf Shores three years ago, living on the Bon Secour River. Greg was an avid fisherman, fishing from the time he was a young boy. To finally be able to live on the river he fished while he grew up was a great blessing for him. Greg was a devoted husband, a loving father, and an adored Papaw. To know Greg was to love him and he will be greatly missed.</b></p>
