Robert “Buddy” Edwards

Robert Edwards was born on November 21 1932 in Houston Texas to Parents, Mickey and Kathryn Edwards. After graduating high school Robert went on to join the Army and served from March 1953 to March 1955 he was stationed at Ft Bliss and served in Korea as an artillery radar operator, when he returned home he took a job with the Houston Lighting and Power Company where he worked until he retired in March of 1992.

Robert went to be with the lord and countless other friends and family on November 26, 2023 just 5 days after his 91st birthday at his home in Houston Texas. Robert left his daughter and Son in law Larry and Lisa Borreson, Son Stephen Edwards, Blake and Melanie Edwards and their daughter Parker behind, but not with out them knowing he loved them very much. Robert was an amazing husband to his wife and set the benchmark high for how a wife is supposed to be treated and how a family is supposed to be loved and cared for. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Mickey and Kathryn, Sister Lois Norris, and Becky his wife of 60 years.

The funeral for Robert Edwards will be held on December 5th 2023 at the Rosewood funeral home 2602 S Houston Ave, Humble Tx, 77396, with the viewing at 9:00am and the service at 10:00am then followed by fellowship and food at Robert and Becky's home, 315 Abney Drive, Houston Tx, 77060
