Rebecca “Becky” Ramirez, 56 of Runge, went to her heavenly home after a long journey with cancer, November 25, 2023. She was born October 23, 1967, in Lubbock Texas to the late Felipe C. Ramirez Sr. and Josefina (Gonzalez) Ramirez. Rebecca was an employee of the Primary-Elementary School in Karnes City where she enjoyed working with all her school family and children.

Rebecca is survived by her brother Fidel Ramirez (Beatrice) of Pasadena, TX: sisters, Felicita Ramirez and Helena Garcia (Fred) both of Runge, TX; sister-in-laws, Delia Ramirez of Runge and Diana Ramirez of Pasadena; numerous nieces, nephews, Roy Ramirez, Randy Ramirez (Shevon), Ana Ramirez (Derek), Martin Ramirez (Ashley), Jennifer Ramirez (Osiel), Jimmy Ramirez (Yamell), Monique Ramirez, Jonathon Garcia, Joshua Garcia, David Ramirez (Monique), Darren Ramirez, Josephine Ramirez (Adrian), and Lorena Ramirez; great-nieces and nephews, Ian Ramirez, Alanna Ramirez, Melina Ramirez, Mariah Ramirez, Xavier Escobar, Giovanni Escobar, Dominic Escobar, Oscar Arredondo, Jahlyssa Ramirez, Jett Ramirez, Jayden Garcia, Jaylynn Garcia, Jaleah Garcia, Kayla Ramirez, Eliza Ramirez, Lillianna Ramirez, Noah Ramirez, Joseph Ramirez, Melissabeth Ramirez, Adrian Posadas, Chloe Ramirez, and Andrew Ramirez.

The family would like to thank all the family, friends, doctors, nurses, and hospice for their support through her journey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felipe C. Ramirez Sr. and Josefina Gonzalez Ramirez; brothers, Felipe Ramirez Jr., and Rojelio Ramirez Sr.; nephew, Rojelio Ramirez Jr.

Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday, November 30, 2023, with a Rosary at 7:00pm at Finch Funeral Chapel, 204 N. Mugge St, Runge, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be 10:00am, December 1, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Runge, Texas. Interment will follow at the Runge Latin American Cemetery.
