Allen David Mixon, 41, of Rockford, entered Heaven on Friday, November 24, 2023 after a long struggle with diabetes.  Allen was born on May 25, 1982, the son of John and Vicki Mixon.  Although he struggled with many health issues from age sixteen, he lived life as most people only think about.

Allen is survived by his children, Jordan and Alyssa; mother, Vicki; siblings, John (Amy), Kevin, Carri and Tina; and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his father, John, in 2017.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
