Jennie 'Olga' Colson
<p>Jennie ‘Olga’ (Czop) Colson, of Suffield, CT. Wife of the late Alexander G. Colson who passed away in 1988, married over 45 years.</p><p><br></p><p>Born on January 2, 1923, in Westfield, MA; daughter of the late Wojciech and Bronislawa (Glista) Czop. Olga attended local Westfield schools and moved to West Suffield in 1945 and lived in West Suffield most her life. She belonged to Scared Heart Church over 78 years. She was employed at Sears and Roebuck for 41 years, and Suffield Savings Bank for 4 years, retiring in 1992. </p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her dear friends, Barbara and Charles Agli of East Windsor; and their five grandchildren: Danny and Charlie Gallagher, Karlie Sagendorf, Kayla and Lanie Trinks. And two very close friends Janet Rodgers and the late Evelyn Menaguzzo and great nephews, nieces and cousins. Olga was grateful and appreciative for her last chapter spent at The Suffield House.</p><p><br></p><p>Olga was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Garwacki and Wladyslawa Oniszczuk. Two brothers Frank Czop and Walter S. Czop who passed away in 2010. And a very dear friend, John Potter. </p><p><br></p><p>The Funeral Service at Sacred Heart Church with a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 1, at 11:00AM. Please meet directly at church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westfield, at a later date. No Calling Hrs. Heritage Funeral 1240 Mountain Road, Suffield, is assisting with funeral arrangements.</p><p><br></p>Obituary
