<p>Elisa (Licha) Vialpando, 64, of Greeley CO went home to be with our Lord on Monday, November 20, 2023. She was born September 9, 1959, in Hondo, TX to Tomas Ybarra and Felicita Sauceda.</p><p><br></p><p>She graduated from Platte Valley Highschool and went on to attend AIMS Community College.</p><p><br></p><p>She married Cirilo Tapia in 1985, divorced in 2006 and married John Vialpando in 2019.</p><p><br></p><p>Elisa (Licha) enjoyed cooking specially baking her famous “hard” Christmas cookies. She always looked forward to spending time with her family and was the designated party organizer. She welcomed everyone with open arms regardless of if she knew them or not.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include her husband John Vialpando, two daughters Silvia Cerrillo (Samuel), Grimy Tapia, seven grandchildren; Janahi, Christopher &amp; Lanae Cerrillo Tapia, Edgar, Candy &amp; Oscar Ortiz Tapia &amp; Jamileth Perez Tapia, one great-granddaughter Iliana Rose Ortiz Andrade, three brothers Thomas Ybarra Jr (Mary), Elias Ybarra (Susie), Ernesto Ybarra (Gloria) &amp; one sister Edna Ybarra (Stacy), Stepdaughter Lauren Meyer, several nieces, nephews, and extended family, also her four legged babies Snookums, Baby Cakes &amp; Muñeca</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband, nephew Tony Ybarra, Nieces Ashley Ybarra &amp; Margaret Ybarra, great-granddaughter Leilani Alya Ortiz Andrade, mother-in-law Mary Vialpando, brothers-in-law Bobby &amp; Rick Vialpando.</p><p><br></p><p>My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.</p><p><br></p><p>Psalm 73:26</p>
