<p>Mamie Louise Hatfield (née Rummage), beloved wife of Herman Hatfield, passed away on November 18, 2023, at MUSC surrounded by her loved ones.</p><p><br></p><p>Mamie was born on September 15, 1944, to the late Jessie and Georgia (née Trent) Rummage in Bardstown, KY.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Herman Hatfield of Hollywood, SC, whom she married on October 5, 1963, in Bardstown, KY. Other survivors include her children Paula (Lloyd) Burt of Alliance, OH, David Hatfield of Hollywood, SC, Phillip (Elizabeth) Hatfield of Yemassee, SC, and Stacy Turner of Hollywood, SC; 3 grandchildren Jonathan Burt, Amy (Mitch) McBrayer and Phillip Hatfield, Jr; 3 great grandchildren Raelynn, Colton and Karina McBrayer.</p><p><br></p><p>I’m keeping with Mamie’s wishes, cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.</p>

Mamie Louise Hatfield (née Rummage), beloved wife of Herman Hatfield, passed away on November 18, 2023, at MUSC surrounded by her loved ones.


Mamie was born on September 15, 1944, to the late Jessie and Georgia (née Trent) Rummage in Bardstown, KY.


She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Herman Hatfield of Hollywood, SC, whom she married on October 5, 1963, in Bardstown, KY. Other survivors include her children Paula (Lloyd) Burt of Alliance, OH, David Hatfield of Hollywood, SC, Phillip (Elizabeth) Hatfield of Yemassee, SC, and Stacy Turner of Hollywood, SC; 3 grandchildren Jonathan Burt, Amy (Mitch) McBrayer and Phillip Hatfield, Jr; 3 great grandchildren Raelynn, Colton and Karina McBrayer.


I’m keeping with Mamie’s wishes, cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
