<p>Renee Ventimiglia, 60, of Alpena passed away unexpectedly on November 17, 2023 at McLaren Northern Hospital in Petoskey.</p><p>Renee Susan was born on March 11, 1963 to Jimmy Wayne and Nancy (Wirgau) Birmingham. She married John Joseph Ventimiglia on June 5, 1982. Renee enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Courtney Schultz, Alyssa Schultz, and Gunner Tolan. She also enjoyed spending her time baking, making sushi platters, and was always trying to help and take care of others.</p><p>In her early days Renee was a dedicated, hard-working individual. During her school years she was a part of the Student Council, President of the Latin Club, a big part of Alpena softball, and was also on the speed skating team. Later on, she was the proud owner of Mane Street Studio for 19 years, and was a well-known manicurist in Alpena for 32 years.</p><p>Renee is survived by her husband, John Ventimiglia, her daughters, Leah (Brad) Tolan, and Gina Schultz, her mother, Nancy Birmingham, 2 brothers, David (Vicki) Birmingham, and Mark Birmingham, 3 grandchildren, Courtney Schultz, Alyssa Schultz, Gunner Tolan. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Wayne Birmingham, and her brother, Brad Birmingham.</p><p>Renee is at McWilliams Funeral Home where visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 12pm until the time of the service at 3:30pm with Pastor Joe Collins Officiating.</p><p><br></p>
