Gary D. Lepak

<p>Gary D. Lepak, cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, of Plover, peacefully departed on November 17, 2023, surrounded by his family at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, at the age of 73.</p><p><br></p><p>Gary was born on January 8, 1950 in Stevens Point, WI; son of Edwin and Tillie (Stencel) Lepak. He grew up in the area, attending local schools and graduating from Pacelli High School in 1968.</p><p><br></p><p>Following high school, Gary attended technical college before joining the workforce; working for Copps and AIG. He was also a proud and active member of the Knights of Columbus. On September 20, 1975, he married Theresa "Teri" Kulas at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galloway. The two were blessed with a daughter, Kelly, and a son, Jason. Gary was most proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with his children, and eventually, his grandson. He displayed this pride by joyfully attending as many activities as he could, watching and cheering on all their accomplishments. His family always came first.</p><p><br></p><p>Gary also found enjoyment in the kitchen; spending time cooking and baking. He loved to share his cookies and other baked goods with others. His kitchen creations weren’t the only things he enjoyed sharing; he delighted those around him with his keen sense of humor and quick wit. Furthermore, he shared and believed in his Faith.</p><p><br></p><p>Gary is lovingly survived by his wife, Teri; his daughter, Kelly (Mark) Mueller; his son, Jason (Krystal) Lepak; and his grandson, Cole Mueller. He is further survived by three brothers, Maynard, Ralph (Phyllis), and Thomas (Carol); a sister, Linda (Larry) Woyak; a brother-in-law, Norm Bejna; and numerous other family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Tillie; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Reg and Mary Ann Lepak, Myron Lepak, and Virginia Lepak; and sisters, Claudia Bejna and Sister Bernadine Lepak, SSJ.</p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the hospital staff as well as every other specialist and caregiver that gave such compassionate care and attention to Gary during his time with them. We are forever grateful to you all!</p><p><br></p><p>For those wishing to express their sympathies, the family kindly suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Kathy’s House in Gary’s name. These memorials can be sent by visiting www.kathys-house.org.</p><p><br></p><p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Gary at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 24, 2023, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church - 3200 Plover Road, Plover, WI. Rev. Edward Shuttleworth will officiate. A General Rosary will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday at the church, with a visitation to follow, from 10:00 AM until the time of service. A private family burial will be held at a later date.</p><p><br></p><p>Shuda Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.</p>

Obituary
