Della B. Woodson, 92, of Berea passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. She was born in Eubank, KY, on July 16, 1931 to the late Roy & Pearlie (Reynolds) Taylor, and married Howard Abbott Woodson in 1951. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 plus years and her siblings, Martha Long, Irene Taylor, Chester Taylor, Noel Taylor, Hershel Taylor, Junior Taylor, and an infant brother. Aside from being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great cook, Della was employed at Gibson Greeting Cards for many years. She is survived by her son, Darryl Lee Woodson, of Berea, her granddaughter, Leslie Woodson Snell (Eli) of Nantucket, MA, and her great-granddaughter Olivia Hazel Snell. Visitation will be held at Lakes funeral home on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with Brother Robin Stilts Officiating.
