Rancho Cordova, California - Margaret Mary Pruitt born May 18, 1937 in Liverpool, England passed peacefully on Oct 25, 2023 in Roseville, California with Family.

Married for 64 years to her husband Robert L. Pruitt. Margaret has three children: Steven John Pruitt (wife Darlene Pruitt), Robert Anthony Pruitt (wife Nita Pruitt), and Brenda Marie Pruitt (husband Jesse Zamudio). She was also blessed with six grandchildren: Brian Pruitt, Courtnie Pruitt, Breana Zamudio, Jesse Zamudio Jr., Jason Pruitt, and Baleigh Zamudio; and two great grandchildren: Robbie Pruitt and Grace Pruitt.

Margaret was preceded in death by her Father, John Walsh, her Mother, Agnes Longergan, and her Husband Robert Lee Pruitt,

Margaret met the love of her life when Robert L. Pruitt was stationed in Great Britain, while serving with the United States Air Forces in Europe. She and Robert were married December 20, 1958, in Liverpool, UK. Having served two tours in Vietnam. They traveled the world with the Air Force spending time in England and Hawaii and several locations in the United States. Bob retired as well as Mom from the Air Force after 22 years and settled in California in 1978, again Mom and Family followed along, as a good Military family does. She is remembered fondly by the many she was aquatinted with.

Mom’s number one priority was always family, and she doted on them always. Nanny was her name and giving was her game. If there was an event, she was there. She never missed an opportunity to engage her family with talk of the latest events that she bought or listen to them share their life goals and ambitions.

Peggy’s love, presence, and spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday 18 Nov at 11:00 AM at St. John Vianney Church on Coloma Rd., in Rancho Cordova. https://sjvparish.com
