Keratso Pappas, 86, a resident of Folsom, California, and formerly a resident of San Jose, California, passed away into the loving arms of the Lord on November 13, 2023 with her family by her side at Mercy Hospital in Folsom, California. Keratso was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother (Yia Yia). Keratso will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Keratso was born in the village of Kandila Greece as the daughter of Michael and Sophia Paisopoulos. At the age of 17, she moved to the United States and settled in Aurora, Illinois. Although they were both born in the same village in Greece, it was in Aurora, Illinois where she met Spero Pappas and they were married on October 8th, 1961.

Keratso and Spero have 3 sons, all born in Illinois but eventually moved their family to California. Keratso loved her family and spending time with them more than anything. Her Greek Orthodox Faith was always very strong. She was also a excellent cook and got huge enjoyment out of cooking for her family and in true Greek fashion her goal in life was making sure everyone was well fed.

Keratso is survived by her husband of 62 years, Spero. As well as her three devoted sons: Modeste, Michael, Kosta with Daughter in law Dana and 3 Grandsons Michael, Alexander, and Samuel of Auburn, California, Kosta and daughter in law Heather, son Spero and two daughters Kyrasto (Kaitlyn) and Sophia of Gilroy, California. Keratso will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, but we know she will be with us always.

The viewing will be held on November 19th 5pm at Miller Funeral Home, 507 Scott St, Folsom, Ca 95630

The Service will be held November 20th 2023 from10am to 11am at Katherine Church 9165 Peets St, Elk Grove, Ca 95758

Reception will be from 11am to noon at Katherine Church Hall with the burial afterwards at Lakeside Memorial Lawn 1201 Forrest Street Folsom, CA 95630
