Linda Cecile Harnish

In loving memory of Linda 82, of Mill Cove, we the family are saddened to announce her passing on November 15, 2023 at Valley Regional Hospital. Born In Halifax on January 29, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Percy and Hulda (Jennings) Harnish.

Linda was a kind gentle soul who loved life. Family was most important to her. Linda proudly worked for many years at the Military base in Mill Cove. Linda loved to cook and will be fondly remembered for her sweet rolls , homemade bread and old fashioned meals. Linda enjoyed going to dances with her spouse Paul in their younger years and spending weekends away. Linda spoke fondly of her trip to Los Angeles to visit brother Tyrill and spouse Clyde. When Tyrill and Clyde came home every year Linda loved hosting the whole family at the homestead. Many stories were shared and music enjoyed. Linda enjoyed drawing, crafts and reading. Linda will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons Kimber (Laura) and Chris (Heather) ; granddaughter , Courtney ; sister Elva ; brother , Tyrill (Clyde). Besides her parents she is predeceased by her sisters; Doris, Joyce, Delsie, Margaret, Joan, Jean, Geraldine and Verona; brothers, Douglas, Mervin, Edison and Vincent; Common law partner Paul.

A private family service will be held in the St. James Anglican Church Cemetery, Fox Point at a later date. Online condolences can be made to www.rawalker.ca
