Pauline Hickman Robinson passed gently from this life March 13, 2016, in Dallas, TX. Born in Lake Charles, LA, on April 21, 1927, she graduated Tioga High School, and married Philip R. Robinson of Corning, NY, in 1946. The couple returned to Louisiana in 1968. She retired from the State Employment Service in 1989. She is survived by children, Peggy Miller of Bradford, PA, and Philip Robinson of Dallas, TX, grandchildren, Danny and Kyle Richter, Anah Kral,Trayce Kaplan, Shannon MacLemore, and nine great-grandchildren. Dozens of nieces, nephews and cousins join an extended family of loved ones that cannot be numbered. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, Etta Mae Edwards, sisters: Irene Hooper, Jessie Mae Thompson and Juanita Maxey, and her father, Charles Monroe Hickman. Hixon Brothers Funeral Home in Pineville, LA, will host her memorial service April 21, 2016, at 11:00 am, with a visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service.
