Ruth (Harless) Seybert, 93, of Anderson, passed away early on the morning of Monday, November 13, 2023 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville.

She was born April 11, 1930, in Anderson, Indiana, a daughter of the late Andy B. and Ona (Johns) Harless.

Ruth worked for Delco Remy for 30 years, retiring in 1979. She enjoyed exercising, crocheting, and cooking. She was an excellent cook. Ruth was a very outgoing, independent, and organized lady. She had a place for everything, and everything was in its place.

Those left to cherish Ruth’s memory include her son Richard (Heidi) Seybert of Anderson, California and Susanne Seybert of Anderson, Indiana; five grandchildren, Richard Seybert, Miranda Seybert, Becky Gomez, Ricky Youngblood, and Adam Alexander; seven great-grandchildren, Daniel Gomez, Diego Gomez, Liliana Gomez, Kaitlynn Youngblood, Dalton Youngblood, Gabriel Alexander, and Abigail Alexander; and a great-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Harless; sisters, Ruby DeLong, Hattie Abbott, Julia Carwile, Lucinda Fletcher, and Irene Young.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown.
