Mr. James Burnice Cash was born October 23, 1942 in Louisburg, NC and died peacefully on November 6, 2023 at his home on Lake Gaston, Ebony, VA. He is survived by his wife, Judy Smith Cash of Lake Gaston and his children, James Bryan Cash (Sarah) of Louisburg, NC and Suzanne Cash LeDoyen of Cary, NC. Jim leaves behind three grandchildren, Libby, Jenna, and Rivers Cash; his sister, Dolores C. Sloop (Dr. Robert Sloop) of Wilson, NC; many nieces, nephews, and their families as well as his loyal caregiver, Gordon Johnson. James was predeceased by his parents, Burnice Walter Cash and Flavil Liles Cash.

Jim was a graduate of Louisburg High School and proudly served in the United States Army stationed in Germany. He loved his family, Lake Gaston, boating , fishing, golf and beach music.
